ummm yes. right now there's this guys chris corner, hiding out - he killed 2 cops or something. The media has over hyped it, as they do everything - they talk way too much & over expose the details.. they should just be quiet & lay low then catch the guy... it's human nature, unfortunately.
there have been many through out history - just google vigilantes or serial killers.
Lots of them think they're ridding the world of scum, so in their mind they are vigilantes. Both the hillside stranglers and the green river killers prey were prostitutes, so that was probably their objective.
