Is there a question here that I am missing?
This is very difficult. I think what you're doing in reaching out and talking about it is a good thing to do for the grieving process. There are no easy answers for why this must happen to someone so young.
But one thing to take some comfort in ... as cliche as it sounds, is that life is precious and rare in this universe, including one's so short. She experienced life, and love and hopefully whatever comes she will know too. I hope she is in no pain ... that's perhaps more difficult to deal with than even death.
Like billions before, you will get through this ...

would that be the thanksgiving next month?
I just heard the news from my mom that a family who is close to us is going to loose their little girl.
She collapsed suddenly on thanksgiving and she's been in the hospital since.
The doctors say that there is a 20% chance she will survive and that she is going to die soon.
She just entered the fourth grade...
She was full of life and perky and pretty.
I can't imagine what the family is going through. I have experience loosing loved ones but not as young as this girl. She is just entering her life and she had so much to live for. She has a loving family and friends.
I'm bombarded with sadness. I'm crying and crying.
Please god, let her live. :(
