nope he didnt die... the one who died is Nifa not aramin (but there face kinda alike in manga).
actually in the recently released manga episode Armin is shot in the face, while trying to save Eren and Christa(Historia)... he was scouting on the roof and Kenny the ripper shot him in the face and although the manga didn't really say that he was dead, what are the chances of surviving after a shotgun to the face?
