Ice bucket challenge?

Why not? Really, I personally am not doing it because it is viral among my school (surprised no one has hypothermia yet), but I don't think it's the most productive thing. Though the ice bucket challenge started off as a noble awareness idea, it ultimately backfired and became just another challenge like the cinnamon challenge, chubby bunny, banana and Sprite...you get the point.

yeah , you can dump a bucket of ice water on your head , but the " challenge " is to donate $ 100 dollars to ALS or , get the ice on the head . the money would go to research for a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis , the money would go farther than somebody all wet and freezing .

Of course there's no rule about that. The point is to raise money and awareness- please don't just dump a bucket of ice water on your head donate a bit of money too otherwise what's the point?

I think it is so silly/but if it causes people to give to good charities I will tolerate the silliness!

go do it

So, I just heard about the ice bucket challenge for ALS. I was wondering if I could do it without being challenged, I was thinking that if I do it and challenge some of my friends and so on, it would raise awareness in my area. So, can I start one without being nominated? Is there a rule about that? Thanks!!
