The truth behind Al Qaeda and opposition to US involvement in the Middle East is more complicated, but Bin laden made it nice and simple. Bush planned to use his face well before 9/11, as is obvious because Bush announced that Bin Laden was behind the attack only one hour afterwards. In reality it takes days or weeks to be sure who is behind an attack, so Bush had the plans and knew who was going to be named as the culprit.
Yes...he's real. And he was a very nasty man indeed. There are always going to be conspiracy theorists but it would be pretty far fetched to say the least if the government had 'made him up' or whatever. And yes of course hes dead. As an enemy of the US the first thing he would've done when Obama announced he was dead would've been to pop up and make a video of himself and have Obama look like a right twonk to the world.
Whether we believe Bin Laden died in 2011 like Obama told us by navy seals is another matter. Some believe Bin Ladens been dead since 2007 but was kept quiet.
Personally I'm not sure but the mans dead at least therefore either way, the world is a slightly better place without him breathing.
By your faulty logic, how can we know anything we haven't seen in person is real?
Take China, for instance. I've only seen it on TV, therefore it might not really exist, right?
At any rate, yes Bin Laden was real, and yes, he's really dead. What evidence would convince of this fact? Photos can be easily faked, and even if it were possible to display his body for all to see, would that matter? Would you be able to look at the body of someone you've never met before and positively identify him?
If you need further proof, consider that Al Qaeda had a prime opportunity to prove that that wasn't Bin Laden that the Seal team shot. But you know what they did instead? They CONFIRMED that the US Seals invaded Bin Laden's stronghold, shot and killed him. Al Qaeda has nothing to gain by lying about Bin Laden's death.

I think he's "real" dead at this time, and will be for the foreseeable future.

i can understand someone thinking he may not be dead. but thinking he doesn't even exist is a little far fetched. i'm pretty sure he's real. as to dead or not. i believe he is but others may not
Yes unfortunately he did exist , and caused terrible damage , but brave US soldiers killed him .
I mean we can't be certain we only hear about him on the news and the news could be set up to make us believe that Middle Easterns are terrorists.
Even when 'they' claimed he was dead they didn't show us his body or enough evidence. did they?
