Did everyone die in the Hindenburg when it exploded?

I am just wondering.

No, the majority of people lived. Of the 97 people on board, 35 died. The Hindenburg did not explode, it caught fire. Once the hydrogen started burning, the flames were carried upwards by the light gas away from the people underneath. Burning hydrogen also produces a lot of water and this showered down on the people trying to escape protecting them from the fire.

No, out of 97 on board, only 35 died. Incredible if you've seen the film.

No.

In fact, one incredibly well-coordinated muffinlover managed to leap out of the vessel (just prior to touchdown) and sprint for his muffinloving life.

A few jumped out as it neared the ground.

I am just wondering.
