I'm pretty sure the only people that jumped were those who were above the floors of impact. Since they were trapped, they didn't have much choice other than to jump or just die in the smoke/flames. And those floors were WAY too high for anyone to survive. The people on the lower floors had a chance of getting out, so I imagine most of them would have actually tried to escape (and most probably were able to get out).

Those who jumped were all above where the airplanes impacted, and were aware they were jumping to their deaths, but preferred that to being burned to death.

Those below where the planes hit walked down the emergency stairs.

30 floors would be over 300 feet, so no.

I'm not trying to be ignorant or anything but I'm just curious to know if anyone that did jump survived. Of course I know that the people who jumped from the higher floors didn't buy what about the people from say the 30th floor?:(
