And not just their bodies, but their brains as well.
Children, lacking fully-developed brains, are why children aren't treated as equally as adults are.
Nor should they be.
While children can & do come up with some extraordinary ideas, that's the exception not the rule.
While children can & do exhibit extraordinary abilities (musical or mathematics prodigies) that still doesn't equip kids to fully comprehend the adult world around them.
Or have the critical thinking skills that even adults (and far too many of them) also lack.
That's why the old rule of "children should be seen and not heard" still and always will apply.
Tadpoles just aren't frogs yet, no matter what tadpoles think about it.
The same applies to children. They just aren't adults, no matter how grown up they try to act.
Both. We should hear our children they have the most innocent and unbias view of the world.
Of course children should be heard! they are not only dolls and can have feeling and ideas like other people, only on their level.
