Assassination attempts on Fidel Castro?

The U.S. never stopped trying to kill Fidel over the past 45 years mainly using the CIA but also hiring paid mercenaries. There was a guy named Posada who blew up a plane full of Cuban travelers, the U.S. gave this terrorist asylum and would not return him to Cuba for prosecution, yet the U.S. expects everyone to respond to its requests. Just Google Castro+assassination

Washington was using the Mafia to kill Castro. Havana used to be a casino paradise for the decadent. Gangsters from across the world would assemble in Cuba and party. Fortunately they failed and the Revolution toppled the corrupt banana republic.

Kennedy made a deal with the Soviet Union to get them to removed their nuclear weapons. He agreed not to invade Cuba and another attempt to kill Castro would probably have been seen as us breaking our word.

They still do, they won't let Castro retire in peace. I think they should stop trying because so far he survived a lot of their cheap tricks from exploding cigars to a car bomb.

The CIA tried to assassinate him 638 times...allegedly... even with the help of the Mafia and his lover. It's not that no one tried, it's that Castro was very smart/careful.

I know JFK tried but after that it didn't really seem like anyone tried. I've been curiously going from website to website for the past 3 hours trying to figure out all about everything on Cuba and basiclly have mixed opinions. So I'd like to know, why won't anyone try and kill him? I mean I've heard the theory of no one wanting to try again after Bay of Pigs and such.
