Nope. Are you for being at the mercy of unstable foreign governments and regions for our energy vital needs?
I'm against fracking. I wouldn't take any advice from the Archbishop. He's delusional by definition. Fracking is dangerous. If they can figure out a safe way to get the gas out of the ground then that's fine. Natural gas is clean to burn. Fracking is a very dirty way to get the gas out.
I am American. They tried fracking in Norman, Oklahoma. Now, don't get me wrong. You CAN safely shower with the water. And, you can safely wash your clothing with the water. But, you can NOT wash your dishes with the water. You can NOT rinse your fruit and vegetables with the water. And, you sure can't DRINK the water. So, I am one American who is a little leery about the practice of fracking. I would ask a WHOLE lot of questions.

3 hours ago - Green Party MP Caroline Lucas was arrested today at an anti-fracking protest in Balcombe, West Sussex. The arrest came as police attempted ...
There's a load of nonsense talked about fracking. If we're going to continue to use fossil fuels, it's a good way to extract them. Those who claim it causes earthquakes, contaminates the water supply and leaves the toilet seat up should really get a life.
The argument against is the same argument against all fossil fuels. Finding new sources of gas will add to carbon emissions which are damaging the planet. However, even that argument is not clear-cut. Most carbon emissions originate from animal sources. A human pedalling a bike generates more carbon gases than a human riding a moped.
The most efficient method of removing carbon from the atmosphere is broad leaved trees. The problem facing this world is that we've chopped most of them down. If Caroline Lucas and her noisy friends spent their time planting trees instead of getting excited over fracking, the world would be a better place. Their demonstrations have probably generated more carbon emissions than the potential gas they are demonstrating against.
Yes - against. When fish die in the streams and ponds and people start getting sick while holding a small flame (lighter, match) beneath faucets in their homes causing flames to erupt from those faucets and when throwing a match into a pond causes the pond to erupt into flames (in various locations where fracking is taking place), it's a sign that we have a serious environmental problem on our hands. When companies involved in fracking purchase those homes from the families living in them and a "silence" contract is added to the purchase, we have a major environmental disaster fast approaching.
Nope, bring it on. Frack & keeping on fracking. Americans need some good jobs & the Arabs will miss out billions of hard earned dollars.
Strange a lot of people are ignoring results from other location where this has already been carried out!
Cameron has backed the practice (I believe he was badly advised) and this will not be forgotten come the next election.
The sad part is Labour betrayed the country and England does not have the opportunity Scotland has 'to blow this lot out' and start afresh!
it depends on the areas they are going to frack in.
they did some in blackpool and they had to stop because it caused subsidence to residential areas
I would say its a good idea in large uninhabited areas, but as the saying goes, not in my back yard.
No,we need these resources but I would like to have some rational explanation about the pros and cons of it instead of the hysterical knee-jerk reactions of some of these protesters who when interviewed on the news did not come up with any rational facts to back their views.
Get some geologists or other "experts" on T.V. to explain it all.
For
For for for for so very very for.
If a whole bunch of Woolly hatters in the South of England who were so keen to have the hills of Wales covered in giant concrete poles with turbines on the top, now find they are getting their windows blown out by underground explosions and methane gas coming out of their toilet pans, it will make my day!
If the archbish says it good then we must listen....? If you are against it, can you tell me why?
Nope... I love fracking...! I'd frack all day long if I could...!
If you're referring to natural gas, YouTube has many videos of people who can not set fire to their tap water. Check it out for yourself.
You must be taking a Survey, this has to be the most ignorant question since time began.
