None, they say it confuses the animals when people dress in leopard skins or zebra stripes. I am certain all the animals lose sleep over nightmares about someone dressing like them. I have suggested that everyone be asked to attend the zoo in the nude thereby eliminating any confusion for the animals and causing the people to lose sleep instead.
Personally I don't think the animals care but in all fairness why would you wear an animal print to a zoo? Did you buy it in mind of wearing it there? Really it is kind of crass.A time and place for everything.
The people at the zoo work with the animals day in, day out, so I am quite prepared to believe what they say.
I can think of no advantage to them in lying.
They claim it's because the animal prints confuse the critters. Kinda gives new meaning to the phrase, "Dumb animals," don't it?
