The problem is the tradition of marrying a cousin from the home Country then bringing them here. I know this has happened with people I have worked with. Pressure to marry from the land of origin is huge in Pakistani culture and it cannot be denied. This is the 'unseen' immigration'. Put a stop to this tradition. If they want to marry a foreign national they should go and live there.
The govt cant do any thing to the people settled far before, but it can stop or reduce immigration from other countrys by limiting their visa to study or to work for limited period of time. All the nations not only britain which are being exploited by not only muslims but also hindus,bhuddist,christians should think of it.
In this globalised world you cannot restrict one from being part of your society.

I don't think were being outbred. I think most immigrants are probably white, no? From Spain, Eastern Europe etc. They tend to have children who will probably feel particularly "British", as, I suppose, do a lot of non-white people too. I think the numbers are *far* too small to think Islam could take Britain over. For this to happen it would need to be embraced and promoted by an emperor of Europe, just like Constantine endorsed Christianity and made Christianity the religion of Roman Europe 1700 years ago.
Hard to get an accurate handle on things, but I doubt the current waves of immigration are particularly different to any previous waves!

Immigration IS a touchy subject. But, the issue has to work both ways. If a nation is going to open its borders and allow immigration, it is incumbent upon the immigrant to achieve a successful assimilation, as well. This does NOT mean the immigrant is to abandon their culture, or their language. But, it DOES mean the immigrant MUST obey the laws of the host country, and respect the culture of the native population. The immigrant is very much like the invited guest to the home of a friend. An immigration policy IS a hand extended in friendship. It is only proper to expect the behavior of the immigrant to be as friendly as was the invitation of the host country. Personally, were an ENTIRE group of immigrants to prove themselves absolute belligerents, I would acknowledge the immigration policy a mistake, expel the recalcitrant, and immediately amend the immigration policy.
I've never been a racist, never wanted that on my head and never condoned it. One thing I'm sure of though is I am SICK of being sat here jobless watching immigrants pouring into factories and doing jobs I could/should be doing!! I know they have every right too - but this is my homeland and I should come first, not on a lower wage and laid off first!
I couldn't tell you whether they'll take over our country or our culture - I certainly hope Britains got the balls to say no, but immigrants have already taken over the workforce!! The white British male is - now by statistics alone - a minority in most inner city schools.

the reason i ask is that theres a lot of worrying stories about uncontrolled mass immigration today from 3rd world countries today ? how these immigrants have swamped our towns and citys so our own resources can't even cope.
some think islamic muslim familys are outbreeding the indigenous british population at an alarming rate ? so islam is bound to eventually take over the country and rule our constitution ?
im no expert on this....but i do find these stories worrying as an english person.....so id appreciate your opinions and thoughts on it.

Can anyone still argue that Enoch Powell wasn't 100% right. All he was saying was that uncontrolled immigration will lead to problems. He made his speech 45 years ago. How much worse is it now?
