By having a federal government over the states we do not go to war with each other.
They did not have Lincoln on the African Continent. So they divided into 56 countries in which most of them were in war with each other last year. They have many religions Muslim extremists and tribal religions and every other religion and they are all fighting to survive. So between religion and poverty and extremists it is in constant war. In one of the most fruitful places on earth they die from poverty.
Africa has been the most exploited continent in the world. Belgium started it in the 1600s. They took Africa's resources as if they were free.
There is no "Ziel" or racial goal uniting them to dominate over others - just free individuals, families, and tribes. "Tribes" don't have the slavish self-sacrificing spirit and selfless toil demanded by teams and Western nations and armies.
Between 1450 and 1750 Europeans traded with Africa, but they set up very few colonies. By 1850, only a few colonies existed along African coastlines, such as Algeria (French), the Cape Colony (Great Britain,) and Angola (Portugal). Instead, free African states continued, and after the end of the slave trade in the early 1800s, a lively exchange took place between Europeans and African states, such as the Sokoto Caliphate in western Africa and Egypt and Ethiopia in northeast Africa.
In the 1870s, the Belgian King Leopold sent emissaries to establish trade with native Africans in the Congo. This single act began a flurry of imperialistic activity as the other nations of Europe, including: France, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Portugal. The Berlin Conference of 1884-5, in an effort to avoid war, allowed European diplomats to draw lines on maps and carve Africa into colonies. The result was a transformation of political and economic Africa, with virtually all parts of the continent colonized by 1900.

Belgium's imperialist rape of Africa
Between 1885 and 1908, there were between five and eight million victims of Leopold's personal rule, under a barbarous system of forced labour and systematic terror.
The campaign effectively folded after the Belgian government took over the colony in 1908, as though the issues were resolved. Yet most of the brutal state officials deployed under King Leopold were retained by the Belgian state.
Whilst the policy of holding women and children hostage or burning villages ended, the Belgians continued to use forced labour.
It was safe for campaigners to single out the Congo because such outrage "did not involve British or American misdeeds, nor did it entail the diplomatic, trade or military consequences of taking on a major power like France or Germany." (p282)
Finally, in 1914, Britain and then America justified the outbreak of world war on the need to defend "brave little Belgium" from German aggression. Falsified stories were put out that German troops had committed mass rapes of Belgian women and cut off the hands and feet of children. As Hochschild explains, "...no one in the Allied countries wanted to be reminded that, only a decade or two earlier, it was the King of the Belgians whose men in Africa had cut off hands." (p296)

compared to europe, asia, and north america, why is Africa so poor and undeveloped? is it because their brains are closer related to apes so their brains are not as evolved? don't they know how to use their brains? why aren't they able to develop their nations? and why is the government so corrupt?
