Not sure how well you followed the trial, or if you paid much attention to the evidence; Jodi was convicted not based on her looks or her singing voice, or even how she behaved during the trial, she was convicted based purely on the evidence and facts at hand. Jodi's assertion that she was a victim of physical abuse at the hands of Travis Alexander can only be taken by her word alone. There were no other witnesses who testified to this alleged abuse, nor could any evidence be found to support Jodi's assertion that she was abused by Travis. Considering that Jodi lied countless times and made up two other versions of how Travis was killed (one in which she was never there at all, another in which two intruders killed him) her honesty and integrity are both questionable. This makes "taking her at her word", with absolutely no corroborating evidence, a very difficult thing to do. Jodi may cry and complain that no one believes her story, but when a person has a long history of lying and changing their story about their involvement in a certain event, they cast a tremendous amount of doubt in the veracity of their version of the event. Jodi has only herself to blame for the fact that many people do not believe her story; if she had been truthful from the beginning, she would not be perceived to be the liar that everyone considers her to be.
I agree with Steve as far as professional counseling if you really are at all serious that you are "glad" that Travis died the way that he did. It was a very gruesome, painful, inhumane way for anyone to be killed, to be "glad" that someone went through that suggests that you are in need of therapy ASAP.
I'm pro-Jodi, but definitely NOT gay. I don't believe it was self defense, however. There isn't enough evidence to convince me of that, but I admit it was still a possibility. That would only explain the first few knife wounds/gunshot in any case. What I do believe is that she loved Travis very much, was hopelessly devoted to him, but broke under the pressure of Travis taking advantage of her so much. His treatment of her, the way he told her she wasn't good enough to marry-but plenty good enough to have freaky sex with, so 'keep coming over' must have been incredibly punishing. I am absolutely sure in the months leading up to the assault that she became a 'broken person'. She was in a fragile emotional state, and not mentally capable of making good decisions. The assault was premeditated...I have no problem with that and the reason for it is explained in what I just said...I believe even today she has not digested what she did. People want a full accounting from her as to what and why, and she will never give that to them, because she can not give that to herself. She will also not express an honest apology because she can not...what she did is the only thing she could have done at the time. Travis had become a source of incredible happiness, but also pain, and in the end thanks to Travis' conduct with her the pain took over. I feel very bad for her...The trial she got was a sham. I feel even worse for all the people that have expressed so much hate for her. No opinion of anyone should come from hate. But it makes sense when you think about it...look at so many of the opinions expressed by people on Yahoo about a whole veriety of subjects. There is hatred everywhere it seems. For me, from one human being to another, I love Jodi Arias. I know enough to say she is a good person and would rejoice if it were possible for her to-somehow-get free of all this, be free, meet the RIGHT guy, get married, have kids, and generally be happy and forgotten about.
I believe people hate her because she brutally butchered a man who did nothing more than have sex with her when SHE threw herself HIM, in an attempt to keep him in her life with sex. Yes, Jodi put herself in the position of being used for sex. She was the one who thought sex would keep him interested. And she then tries to blame Travis for using her for sex. He did what any normal man would have done. Jodi could not face the fact that he would never marry her, so she premeditated to murder him. Jodi abused Travis, snuck into his house through a doggie door, slashed his tires, stalked him and then finally murdered him outright in a gruesome way. And now, she is costing the taxpayers millions upon millions of dollars so she can manipulate an already corrupt judicial system. Travis was the real victim here, not Jodi, and now she is trying to turn the tax payers into her victim as well. Thank goodness the state will not pay for her appeals.
The friends and relatives of her murdered victim hate her because she murdered someone that they really cared for and loved. Even though Jodi is pretty, has a nice singing voice and can cry on demand. Who knows what evil thoughts lurk in the dark places in her mind. She could not accept rejection and the demons in her mind kicked in and her murderous actions were told in court, and she was found GUILTY.

Probably because they are jealous of her. She is gorgeous & has an amazing voice & they do not. She never even did anything! It was self defense! She was such a sweet soft spoken girl before she met Travis & he was obviously just a pedophile Fat jerk who abused a beautiful woman & even tried to kill her! I don't care how many times he was stabbed! I just know it was self defense! I knew her personally & she is just the sweetest girl ever! I'm actually glad Travis Alexander is dead because he got exactly what he deserved for being a pedophile & abusing a beautiful woman & making her feel horrible about herself! The only reason people hate her so much is because menopausal Fatazz older women are just jealous of her innocence & beautiful looks & everyone just believed the bullshiz lies about Travis Alexander! I believe the only reason she was convicted because other ugly Fatazz older women are so jealous of her & have grown a sickening hatred of her out of jealousy! He was a two faced pedophile with obvious anger issues & I cried for an hour when she was found guilty! What kind of justice system is this? What is wrong with people? Jodi is so innocent!
