It maybe no one will ever know why this horrible so called prank pushed her to take her life. Those two stupid radio presenters has no idea when they called the state of the mind of the nurse and what could have happened to her because of it.They simple didn't care . Nurses dedicate there careers to help people often it the scarest and hard time of the patient life. They are like many important service under valued jobs. This poor nurse hadn't chose a life in the line light all she probably wanted to do was her job to provide for her family and because two idiots thought it would be funny to make a prank call she suddenly found herself wether she was named or not being talked about by press and public . I'm sure she took her role as a nurse and resposniblity of patients privacy very seriously and may have felt not only had she let her profession , her collegues and family and her patients and their family down and herself which is not true. The only thing she is guilt of is beening a good person who like most people was too trusting. I hope this poor women death haunts those two idiots for the rest of their lives.

can you even imagine what she felt like realising she had taken a call believing it to be genuine then realising it was a prank, she may have been worried about losing her job or being ridiculed by the media theprankstersf who the patient was,
The pranksters are despicable.andfor the radio station to put out a statement that they are deeply sorry and the two morons who made the call are "devastated" well all I can say is it is the family who are truly devastated particularly her two little boys who are facing Christmas without their beloved Mother.
Maybe the hoax/prank call was the final straw, on top of other on-going problems in her life.
The exclusive hospital management insisting they were supporting her, belies what's happened & doesn't look they were giving her 'support'.
I can imagine she was getting a right tongue lashing & professional reprimand.
She hung herself & it's her family who will suffer for a stupid prank by two stupid people who thought it would be funny.
Just after the DJ's call, Another prankster called MI5 pretending to be Prince Phillip requesting the nurse who put the prankster's call through should get "the Diana treatment,"

It is also funny to me. Even with a worst case scenario of her getting sack it was not worth killing her self. but the hospital says they supported her. I don't think its been officially confirmed she did kill her self yet ?
Of course, I am looking at it from a European point of view,we don't know how the Oriental mind reacts to what she may have perceived as humiliation or shame.

As you may have seen on the news, the police found the body of jacintha Salanha the other day. I keep reading in the newspapers/online etc that the nurse died as a result of a hoax phone call by an Australian radio show, but I'm struggling to see why that would make someone want to kill themselves? Can anyone she'd some light on this please?
