Is the BBC a fair and impartial organisation?

It doesn't seem that way to me.

I would say they are impartial; for example, on news stories they give both sides of a story. Also they choose not to advertise which helps them to be impartial as they don't favour one brand over another.

However sometimes they may choose not to broadcast things, I can't think of an example right now, but it's happened before where they won't show something for some reason or other.

They aren't as strict and controlling as some American stations though, such as when America refused to broadcast one episode of a BBC nature documentary in the US because it talked about the bad things humans have contributed to global warming etc

No it is a liberal tool promoting multiculturalism

as a good thing ignoring the crime, ghettoes, gangsta culture, terrorism, etc etc

The bbc is over represented by minorities -hardly fair or impartial. Good news story - feature blacks/Asians especially if school related. You could be convinced watching Breakfast news that there are no white children in the UK.

no it is fascist right wing PRETENDING to be left wing.

look at the "royal" correspondents.

the queen can do no wrong.

so why did she use her "royal prerogative" to sign us up for illegal wars when she would have had the full legal opinion denied to the cabinet by blair, who gets all the blame!

for years they have had programmes TO FILL THE SCHEDULES on job search and affordable homes. there is never any dicussion of the real jobs available or who can really afford these few affordable homes.

eg NONE of the homeless families in London will move into the "affordable"homes in the "queen elizabeth olympic village"!

listen to the sunday morning briadcasts WHEN CHILDREN ARE LISTENING of the christian horror story, a MAN NAILED TO A CROSS, a ZOMBIE rising from the dead, dead jew shived down their throats in a SATANIC CANNIBAL COMMUNION, a VAMPIRE blood drinking. what a load of BS they call "religion"!

all intended to frighten us and our children into submission to this tyranny.

they gave us wall to wall coverage of the Jubilee but they did not inform us that jubilee means to settle debts and return land to the original owners ie the people WHICH SHE HAS NOT DONE.

the questioning on the today programme is always ANTAGONISTIC TO STRIKERS!

look at all the propaganda against marijuana when it is the holy tree of life of revelations and the plant of renown of ezekiel 34 v29. all theBS about it causing mental health problems and a total denial that it was the police stealing the holy communion marijuana from the youth CAUSED THE RIOTS and caused the riots in the 80s!!!

It has a legal charter to be impartial, it ignores constantly. the bbc you'll find has a tom and jerry approach to fairness.

it's time the bbc was dismantled, we don't need an unelected, bearly accountable trotskyist elite trying to run the country anymore.

It certainly used to be.It was highly trusted across the world during the war.then in the 60s it started to try to be trendy. Its still one of the most trusted news broadcasters in the world. When push comes to shove I think most people would prefer to hear those words "This is London"

On the whole yes, but like any big organisation it makes mistakes.

No. The ministry of information is a left wing islamist propaganda machine for the religion of peace and all socialist positions.

Its as close as you'll get anywhere in the world (barring pure press agencies like Reuters or AP of course). Its never going to be perfect because of the individuals who work for it, but given that left wingers accuse it of being crushingly conservative and right wingers do the precise opposite, its probably doing a decent job.

It has a world wide recognition that it is

Chetak

It tries to be but it fails in many aspects.

It is legally bound by its charter, and subject to oversight. So yes, as much as possible. They are not able to ignore complaints or criticism.

Simply put - yes .

No not in any way

No, it leans to the left.
