There is evidence out there that we don't know about. Like the medical records showing Z's alleged broken nose. (And why didn't he produce those records.) Or the autopsy report - did M have signs of punching someone hard enough to break a nose on his hands? The mortician didn't see anything.
His story doesn't make sense. He claims the kid was sitting on him, pinnning his arms down, bashing his head into the ground, yet he was able to pull out his gun and shoot Martin. Think about it, if someone is sitting on your chest, how do you shoot them in the chest and NOT have blood on your clothes? And how did Martin end up face down on the grass. If Z rolled Martin off of him after he shot him, he would be face up not face down.
He says Martin went for his gun. If that were true, it means he had his gun out - making Martin the one standing his ground.
Z has told a lot of lies and that tells me he is guilty of something. Whether or not it amounts to 2nd degree rather than manslaughter remains to be seen, but the fact that he stalked Martin apparently with his gun out sounds pretty likely that he intended to shoot him.
He is so guilty and it was so obvious with the BS his uncle said how he heard his nephews voice and his mother looked like she was ashamed of lying in the face of her religion as apparently she is a devout catholic. Look where religion got them all,,Zimmerman killed an unarmed child. Dont forget he also beat his girlfriend and was arrested for that. Zimmerman was trigger happy.
I believe Zimmerman was predisposed to use the gun he took with him prior to encountering Martin to threaten, not to kill.
I am of the opinion, after the physical altercation started Martin discovered that Zimmerman had the pistol on him. Martin started hitting first as his history reveals.
However, the Judge ruled pretrial that Martin's propensity for violence is inadmissible under Evidence Rule 402b.
Further,Martin attempted to take the pistol from Zimmerman and they both strenuously fought for control of the weapon and in that process Zimmerman in a state of fear mirrored by the same state of mind of Martin shot Martin.
Neither of them had any state of mind to kill.
No intent to kill = no 1st or 2nd degree murder. He will be aquitted of those charges.
Zimmerman did act recklessly in bringing the loaded pistol but Martin and Zimmerman acted recklessly fighting over the loaded weapon until it was unintentionally discharged accidently hitting Martian resulting in his death. Both of them are at fault.
Thus,Zimmerman will be found guilty for Voluntary Manslaughter due to his recklessness of carrying and not controlling the loaded weapon and because it resulted in Martin's death.
The collective fair and rational minds of the Jury will render a verdict considering both Martin and Zimmerman are at fault but will declare Zimmerman more at fault for carrying the loaded pistol to a probable conflict scene between two male idiots.
This unfortunate situation was not a race issue it was a pretextual mucho-stupidity issue.
Formula:
(Martin + Zimmerman thinking
and acts):
stupid acts + stupid acts = stupid result + reckless thinking + reckless thinking = stupid reckless acts and results.
Sad for all of us.
He's as innocent as a little white rabbit eating a carrot from Gramma Edna's back yard.
Not guilty. All evidence presented has pointed to a clear case of self-defense.
innocent
I don't know, I'm not on the jury .
