It still makes me sad. I just went to Shanksville PA to the memorial there. Very nicely done. Simple. Very somber.
I was at work - going home as I was ill. All that morning I did not feel well but I always try and deal with it but this AM I just got worse. I was going out the door when I heard it on the radio. I went home and got on the phone with a doctor's wife that we deal with in NYC to see if she was ok. She did all the secretary work out of their house as he was just starting in practice. She watched the whole thing transpire. She was on the 8th floor of an apartment building and was typing and saw the plane hit. Awful listening to her.
What makes me sad is American and the direction we are headed. We judge every foreigner, whether American or not, of being a terrorist and associate them with that. That is so wrong. Americans are terrorists more than a few Arabs. Honestly, America, grow up!
