Capitol Building
Symbols of American economic, military and political power. The motive was to humiliate.
"It was not an inside job" Thank U ever so much for clearing that up.
My REAL answer to this is that its a FACT that the war profiteers

Tough to say. It's like asking why did Jim Jones make people poison themselves or why did Marshall Applewhite lead people to commit suicide. The terrorists looked at us as evil, and with men like Osama Bin Laden in control and using a twisted view of religion justified murdering thousands of innocent people.
I heard about a trumped up charge that bin Laden was upset because infidel feet (U.S. troops) were on MUSLIM soil. Naturally this outrage could not be ignored. So, instead of attacking our military on their soil, they decided to murder thousands of innocent people---including a lot of Muslims---on our soil.
Some people are just evil.
muslims hate to be questioned. and can't cope with criticism.
