Im not sure I would feel safe in a country knowing that people like you had guns in their houses. The law says you may use reasonable force. This is open to interpretation by the Court (essentially it is like UK law). Your best weapon against intruders is locks.

Okay so I live in Brisbane and here in Australia it's hard to get a pistol for anything, and I'm underage so I couldnt get one anyways. Is it like the UK laws where you can't attack a home intruder unless they attack you? I hope not, because that law is retarded.

Also what are some good self defence weapons that are not firearms.
