There is only one official story.
A US SEAL team shot and killed him when they tried to take him into custody at his compound in Pakistan.
He was shot twice, once in the chest and once in the face. He died at the house, and his body was transported back to the US base for examination.
This happened in front of many of his family members and was later confirmed by Al Qaeda. Let's stop and think for a second. Why would Al Qaeda confirm the story if it wasn't true? If the US really didn't kill him, don't you think Al Qaeda would have wasted no time putting Bin Laden on the air to taunt the US? Or if Bin Laden had been dead for some time already, why wouldn't have Al Qaeda disclosed that evidence instead? But they didn't. They confirmed that the US SEAL team found Bin Laden, and shot him.
Anything else you might hear or read is nothing but wild speculation or outright lies.
The official story is Bin laden was killed by Navy SEALs of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group (also known as DEVGRU or SEAL Team Six).

I don't know where you're getting "so many answers" but the truth is that President Obama ordered an elite U.S. military team (Seal Team Six) to get Bin Laden. They carried out his orders and raided Bin Laden's compound in Pakistan and killed him.
He died in 2001 due to natural causes. The confession videos were staged. Take a real photograph of Osama Bin Laden and compare it to the guy in the videos. They look nothing alike. Wake up, America!!

He actually killed himself the moment he decided to have carried out the 9/11 bombings. That was the beginning of his death sentence because the Western world would not rest until he was strung up by his genitals. Thank God he was captured and killed by a USA special ops team and became shark food about ten years later.
Osama had been wanted 'dead or alive' for years for doing the 9-11 terror attack on New York City that murdered 3500 persons and then for later terror attacks.
His hideout finally discovered in Pakistan, his compound was raided late 1 night by American military commandos (from the US Navy) who came in 2 helicopters. Osama was shot down in his bedroom after the 2 wives he had been sleeping with that night tried to shield him. One wife was wounded in the leg. An adult son of Osama's and 1 of his wives were killed when the son appeared on the stairs with a gun. Everyone else in the compound were taken temporary prisoner, medical care given to the wounded.
The US commandos then took Osama's dead body with them for full identification, 1 helicopter suffering mechanical problems was self destructed and the Americans left with the body of their dead enemy on the 2nd helicopter. Pakistani police were then allowed to show up to care for and free the other people there and police the scene up while American drones/ satellites watched all from overhead.
Osama's body identified by DNA and photographs was then dumped off a US aircraft carrier warship at sea, after a Muslim burial religious service by a Muslim cleric. Video was taken to prove the US soldiers did not dishonor the dead body of their enemy.
