It was Bin Laden's idea. He was mad at the infidel US military for being in his home country of Saudi Arabia. He formed Al quida. Kahalid Sheikh Mohammed is the person who actually planned the 911 attacks. He is now in US custody.
During the first gulf war when Iraq invaded Kuwait, The Saudi government wanted the US to protect them from Iraq. The US launched attacks against Iraq from Saudi Arabia. Bin Laden was mad about non Muslim Americans fighting against Muslims from his home country.
Remember all the attacks against the US before 911? The first world trade center bombing in 1993. The US embassy bombings in Africa. The USS cole attack. The The Khobar Towers bombing. It's not like 911 was the first attack against us. All of the attacks before 911 happened before Bush was president. Did Bush plan all of those also?

I don't know who you've been listening to or what trash you've been reading, but you're pathetically off the mark. 9/11 happened because of the lust for violence and power that infects all religious fanatics, and because of the indifference and arrogance of those who should have been our watchdogs against such terrorist threats. It was a tragedy in every sense of the word, and spinning fantasy stories rooted in paranoia about its significance is shameful.
In Britain we release sensitive papers after 30 or 50 or a century.an odd thing will never be made public.If America is the same when we are long dead it may be possible to read what "really happened" but up to then we muct accept what we know.
I am sure your country does all it can to try and prevent such things happenening again,but its a tall order to really achieve this especially in the days of "human rights" I dont know any more that I see and read.
I'm not one of those diehard "blind follower" fans of Obama but, I highly doubt that he's a Muslim let alone being involved in the 9/11 attacks on Washington. Mainly because other than being a Illinois senator at the time of the attacks, he wasn't even really relevant until his run for office in '08. Also, the "Secret muslim" story was fabricated mainly to soil his image before the 1st presidential election since there wasn't much dirt his opponents could dig up on him.
Now, to the terrorist attacks themselves. Contrary to conspiracy theorists' beliefs, it's improbable that the US Government orchestrated those attacks, even though it's well known that they'd received enough warning to take action and prevent the attacks. It wasn't just islamic extremist that brought down the Twin Towers. Ignorance and foolish Arrogance on the part of US leaders played a huge part in that horrific chain off events
Anyone who thinks that Obama or bush was involved is an idiot who will believe anything. You can make a convincing argument on just about anything and most people wil follow along just like the sheep they are. If our government was really involved the average rescue worker, investigator or laborer at the world trade would have known and their would have been hell to pay. I was their for a long time and not just watching it on tv or coming up with theories without going through it. As far as the reason, that's simple the USA, as much as I love it, cannot mind it's own business and others don't like it. Also as you said our government wasn't prepared at the time and the many agencies in it did not communicate and share the info they had with each other and the cities effected.

Does anyone know any solid facts on who was the real mastermind behind it (I'm not entirely sure if it was mr Laden) or whether it was orchestrated by Bush or maybe even Obama. I know that Mr Obama could well be a Muslim & that Muslims did hijack 4 aeroplanes and 2 hit the trade centre towers. But I still think theres something hidden that wasn't exposed in public. I still think theres a piece to the puzzle of this mystery thats missing.

...As much as everyone wants to believe that muslims hijacked those airplanes, theres no REAL proof. The only thing that was said to us was that the white house was told it was Al-Queda which, again there is no proof that Al-Queda even exists.
You need to look at the physics of 9/11. When the planes hit the towers, there was enough time for about 80% of the people to evacuate the buildings. Then floor by floor the towers started to explode from the highest floor till it collapsed. Now thats PHYSICALLY impossible UNLESS there were bombs on every floor on the towers to bring it down the way it did.
According to physics the building would have swayed back and for and fallen on the side. With barely any survivors.

In that document, which called for US military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan, they lamented the fact that only another Pearl Harbor would allow them to get the support of the US public for their plans.
