It was my 8th Birthday, and I remember my teacher wanting us to watch the news that day. I didn't really understand it that much then.
I was driving a company van to an emissions testing station. They closed just after I went through and they closed my place of work. The weirdest thing was not seeing anyaircraftt of any kind in the sky for most of a week. I visited the site 6 weeks later and you could still see and smell the smoke. It smelled like ashes and wet cardboard. I saved some of the ash i still have it in a glass jar - it was everywhere.
I was in my 3rd grade class. I just remember being really confused and generally unaware. I almost wish I could still feel that unawareness with all of the things going on in the world today.
2nd grade oblivious of the situation. now that im older i wanna learn more about this. and whats worse, is that my birthday is on 9-11. i just turned 8 in 2nd grade.
in middle school but i cant remember much except that there were long lines at the gas stations because everyone thought the prices would go up.
I was in school. I got out for the day. Everybody did, I think
3rd grade didn't really understand took a couple hours for it to sink in.
