That`s obviously a very emotive question and one that is also open to conjecture & conspiracy theories...very many of which you can either imagine or find on-line (if you`re that way inclined).

Madeleine went missing in 2007, and in the 5 years that have passed very little has changed. The Portuguese police force are clearly 100% incompetent & underfunded...in short they`re useless. Yes the parents of Madeleine must also take some of the blame, after-all if you go on a family holiday then it should be a holiday for the family...you shouldn`t leave your children in bed and then go out to have some drinks with your friends...I have had a family holiday with my children and we ALWAYS went back to our room together.

I could rant away regarding this unfortunate incident for much longer, i have to draw the line somewhere...

As a father i can only hope that the McCann family get the positive resolution that we`ve all been hoping and praying for.

People without children really don`t have any clue how it feels when a child goes missing...even if it`s just in a shop, even if it`s just for 10 seconds...it`s a nightmare.

there is no proof she was abducted , not one person from either portugal or the British police force could find one shred of evidence to even suggest she was abducted

the abduction story comes from her parents

Only those who abducted her know that and we can only hope one day soon the police will catch up with them
