3. we were let out of school early because we were in the tri-state area of NYC
4. I immediately thought of Pearl Harbor and how we were attacked from the air. It reminded me of war.
5. I just remember seeing the burning towers on the tv. i remember my neighbor came home form work that night in the city and he was white as a ghost.
6. terrorist attacks are sinful
7. people were very angry everywhere in the US
8. it taught me that life is precious and you could be sitting on a plane ride to your death, so enjoy your life

3. There was something on the radio about a plane hitting a building. Then a friend phoned and told me to turn on the TV because it was a major disaster. So I saw the 2nd plane hit, on live TV.
4. I knew I was watching the start of a war. And that was mind-blowing because people don't usually see the exact moment a war begins on live TV.
5. The planes hitting the twin towers, the diverted airline flights passing overhead heading for airports here in Canada, and the grief that shook the entire world, not just America.
6. Terrorists should be allowed two choices: Surrender. Or die screaming.
7. America was scared and angry. So were all the other nations (including my own) that lost citizens in the attacks.
8. When you go to war against terrorists, finish what you start. Because Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, and as events have proved, illegally invading Iraq was one of the biggest mistakes the US ever made. It's been over a decade and the enemy the US went to war against - al Qaeda and its Taliban allies - STILL haven't been defeated yet.
