I try to see both sides of the story. From what I've read from a handful of sources, apparently Trayvon Martin was suspended from a couple school and wasn't a pleasant child to be around. Zimmerman was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Zimmerman wasn't justified by killing Martin and neither would Martin if he killed Zimmerman out of fear. Personally, I think Trayvon would get a slap on the wrist by using the racial card and because of his age...Could be wrong, though. From what I have been reading, they both seem screwed up...Shame on the American and Florida govt for their messed up laws.

The way I see it, this case is going to revolve around who was the aggressor.

If Trayvon realistically felt that he was being threatened by Zimmerman, he probably felt he was attacking out of self defense. In this case I don't believe Zimmerman can claim self defense since he's the one who started the confrontation. Trayvon might be charged but he wouldn't be found guilty. His explanation of self defense would hold.

On the other hand, if Trayvon attacked Zimmerman before Zimmerman had a chance to actually become a threat, then Zimmerman's claim of self defense has a lot more weight to it.

Yes I do. It doesn't matter to me what anyone says. I've seen the statistics many times on documentaries. The justice system is harder on blacks than any other race.Therefore they are still racist.It's not right, but I know this is how it is. We still have a long way to go when it comes to racism. I will never understand how some can be so cruel to those who ''only'' have a different skin color than theirs. It makes me sick every time I think about it.

Let's try sticking to the facts.

This case is getting messed up all by itself; we don't need to confuse anyone else.

I'm reading more into this Travyon case. What if the tables turned; Lets say If Travyon killed Zimmerman out of fear? Do you think that Trayvon would be sentenced to prison due to Zimmerman's 911 calls to the police?
