A: No.
So it was a crime. Involving a gun. Which he committed in Nevada -
The sun comes up in the morning. You commit an armed crime in Nevada, you end up in jail.
There is an African-American woman in Florida who is facing 20 years in prison for firing a gun into the air. She was trying to warn her abusive husband to get away from her, and she had a permit for the gun. Marissa Alexander is one of the worst cases of a miscarriage of justice that I have ever heard of. She wasn't firing AT her husband, although she had cause. Who gets 20 years for firing a gun into the air to scare off an attacker?
This came to light after the George Zimmerman/ Treyvon Martin shooting. The court had denied that her case was covered under the "Stand Your Ground" law.
We KNOW that there are innocent people in prison. However, OJ Simpson is not one of those people. He was guilty of the crimes he committed.
His money and celebrity had been used to help him get away with a double homicide. He has to be one of the luckiest killers on earth.
A presidential pardon would be an outrage akin to spitting on the families of his victims. I suspect you already know that.
One has to wonder what he was thinking when he got involved with another crime after he had already been acquitted of two murders. His behavior tells me that he is a very dangerous man who thinks he is above the law.
If they had an Academy Award for stupidity? OJ Simpson would be first in line.
OJ has done nothing worthy of a pardon. He was arrested and sentenced for breaking and entering. It doesn't matter what his reasons were - he broke the law, got caught, and was tried for his crimes.
That is not possible since he did not commit a federal crime. The state governor could pardon him.
Most prisons have volunteer ministers. :)
No; at least he should not be high on any list. Just too many others that are actually worthy of one.
If he thought that he had been robbed he should have gone to the police, and not resorted to self help.
Amen. Check out my answer to a related question

ego maniac should be given pardon
First of all let me introduce myself as a redneck. I have always liked OJ since the 60s.
How does a person in America go to prison long-term for robbing back his own trophys that were stolen from him?
To make matters worse he was set up. He was talked into doing this by somebody who wanted to pull money out of him by filming him rob back what was stolen from him. It was sort of like halfway entrapment.
Excuse me for being just a redneck with a white man's point of view but shouldn't the person who talked him into doing the robbery be doing the prison time? It was not his idea to begin with.
Would you like to see OJ get free?
Please put aside all your other thoughts on what happened in Los Angeles. That was a totally different issue which went to trial and was settled. If you cannot do that then you really have no business making an honest opinion about what happened in another state when it came to his trophys.
How would you like to serve 10 years in prison for robbing your own stolen goods back from degenerates after being talked into it by a person who wanted you to go to prison and make money off you?
