Statutory rape is still a crime with the assumed "villain" to be the older person. Would you like to have your 16 year old daughter (yes, I know, your children are all boys. This is a rhetorical question) having sex with a 30 year old male? It works the same in both directions.
I don't think any 16 really ENJOYS sex. They just know that they're having sex and they think that's 'cool'. And I wouldn't consider any woman who enjoys sex with a child to be 'mature'.
If he is using her as a sexual object to use then I see no problem, and it is just the law that is wrong with it, as long as there are no entanglements or the ruining of his education.
