Yes you can here are the steps to owning a giant panda as a US citizen:
1. Fly to china
2. Make friends with a Chinese person that works on a cargo ship
3. Find a giant panda in the woods in China
4. Have your friend help you smuggle the panda overseas
5. Dont tell anybody
No you can't but I don't blame you for wanting to own one. I would love to have a baby Panda sitting on my bed. If you have money, you could support the care of Pandas so they will always be around for future generations.
Your best bet is a stuffed one. Sorry =(
I'm sure you can, but why whould you want to 'OWN' a creature that doesn't belong in captivity?
The only reason is to save them from extiction.
Many weird Americans 'own' thousands of tigers in completely unnatural cages and parks -far more than the wild population - are they helping tigers?.
No it's illegal, they're an endangered species, you're putting the animal at risk, they're not native to the US, they're a wild, exotic animal, and yes you can go to PRISON and get minimum of 5 years and a $ 500,000 dollar fine.
No you can't as China will not let you have one.
From what I understand is that even those which are in zoos are loaned from China
yes you can , but you have to pay a really big amount of money for the adoption.
Giant... Pandas... are... EPIC!!! Can you own one in the U.S. without violating some form of animal protection act?
