People want to push the empathy angle, but that is nonsense:
~2000 people died; but their deaths had nothing to do with the attack. Result of? Yes. But it was an inconsequential result.
Al Queda did not make a list of the people who they wanted dead and specifically target them... there was no conspiracy to kill the 2000 people by the government.
This was an act of RANDOM VIOLENCE. There IS no meaning in their deaths. They DIED FOR NOTHING. If you are going to insist on tying the deaths into the attack we might as well look at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, how many people dead? How many cancers did we create? Do you hold us responsible for those deaths?
A lot of people died. Um it will never be put to rest. Really with you saying that a lot of people are going to say something rude. 9/11 was a horrible day it left behind an uforrgetable scar. I think it shouldn't be forgotten, we are remembering what happen that day, the life that were lost, the people who gave up their lifes to save others. It's like forgetting a loved one who died. It's the day the united states went quite. Many people will never forget that day. It will be hard not to forget that day.
It's not crap, but it is also important to understand what it has done to this country. A great tragedy, but also a triumph for terrorists, as what our leaders have done to take away personal liberty in the name of 'security' is greater then any terrorist group could hope for.
Just as Pearl Harbor day needs to be remembered, so does 9/11. But honor those who died, not use it for political gain.
It certainly is not water under the bridge for those who lost husbands, wives, sons or daughters.
Either way I would get upset if they brought it up or not. I mean c'mon it's only one day we are all recognizing the heroes the innocent people who died. Not for a whole month or year. How about you stay in your room until tomorrow come because It's not like it ps everyday of the year. Listen to this, people who were really affected and who are still grieving from it.
It's just a thee minute song.

Huh? Someone are trying to create awareness about it? In that case they failed miserably, because until yesterday I had not heard it mentioned for 4-5 years. I thought we were over that already. Especially as the only reason I heard about it yesterday is that the date was mentioned in article about the effects shipping has on whale poo.
how about you put it into this perspective it could of been you or one of your family members that's how i view it if my dad and mom never moved to pa and still lived in NYC my dad was a police officer and he got off shift at 7:30 he would've gone into the buildings to help every person he could. When we watched the ten year special there were names of his fellow officers he had worked with and when he saw their names he broke down and cried the only time i saw my father cry was when my grandmother passed away.
I'd rather know the truth even if there isn't much I can do about our government's horrifying activities.
If you had one of your family members murdered by your government then would it still be crap?
PEOPLE HAVE THIS REMEMBERED BECAUSE A SHITLOAD OF PEOPLE DIED THAT DAY!!!!!!!!
Donn't get me wrong I don't mean to be shallow but seriously? There's no point in people creating awareness if it's go to upset others. I'm not saying to ignore it, i'm just saying that at this point, its water under the bridge....
Cmon. 11 Years.
If you disagree please explain.
