Regarding the Libya attack...?

Yes it can be said, I think the families of the victims have the right to know at least. The date of the attack basically tells people it was not because of a stupid YouTube video: the attack happened on the 11th ANNIVERSARY of 9/11/01, that's not a coincidence. There's mounting evidence that someone really messed up and that someone is covering things up.

I heard within 2 days of the event that the attack was made by a local terrorist group to commemorate the 9/11 attacks, not by the peaceful folks protesting a vulgar movie clip.

So I think the information was easy enough to get. I can't imagine why the Administration took so long to acknowledge who the bad guys were.

There is no official investigation, they knew all along who was responsible according to the e-mails they had recieved that same night.

I still can't understand how you have a US Ambassador in one of the most dangerous countries of the world with hardly any protection. This does not make sense.

..can it not be said that despite one's political stance....and despite which fact's you accept or decline...that official responses have not been timely. Can we assume that the situation was so convoluted and complicated, or that the persons investigating are incompetent? I would suggest that by any view, the official investigation of this crime appears inadequate and slow,
