Well, first of all, it was in Connecticut.
Everyone handles "traumatic" events or news differently. Some are more emotional than others. That would be weird for me personally, but it was a really sad day. Just because someone does or doesn't cry doesn't mean he/she feels more or less sad about a situation.

No, it is healthy to cry when you feel pain--it is a release. Other people might go for a long run, talk to friends, or ( not so healthy ) get drunk.

So i cried for about'30 minute from reading an article on Yahoo about the the kids and teachers who die today in New Jersey is it wierd or normal the article had no images i just imagine it like if i was there.
