Refund for event that was cancelled?

You never actually say in your question what the event was. If you give more information then maybe others who were affected can help you.

What was the event in question? You usually get a refund if something is cancelled, but if the organisers went bust you may be out of luck. Claim it from your credit card company in that case.

You can only claim from your credit card company if the amount comes to £100 or more. If less than £100 you need to negotiate a refund like you are already trying to do.

Always read the small print. If you don't understand it, get your lawyer, (the Artful Dodger QC) to read it through and explain it to you.

The words Non Transferable usually mean, no refund available.

You say you paid by CC. You know they are jointly responsible if you use the card.I would contact them.I have enclosed a link with some of the events in Oxford in August.

Paid by C/C in February. Event was cancelled in, August. We made the journey to Oxford only to be told by the gatekeeper the event was cancelled. We were not notified. I have been emailing back and fore to no avail. The last email from them seems they want to start all over again from scratch. I have given Track numbers, Dispute numbers, even ticket numbers and they are still asking for proof and passing the buck.

It is only a small amount but I am wondering if any one has been caught up in this and can offer help
