You have to turn this around and make it something fun out of it ,something you can all look back at and enjoy and laugh at
Stay inside, have a way to keep warm, blankets, clothes, maybe portable gas heater, stove etc.
Board up windows. Put car under cover. Solve the problem permanently and move to Adelaide Australia.
You will never have to worry about a blizzard again. It has been between 80 and 90 degrees Farenheit for
months and we last had any rain 6 weeks ago. Winter is between 60 and 70 deg. F. We never have snow. It does reach 125 deg. F. a few days a year. Keep warm an safe though.
Move West
It's just a blizzard... meaning lots of snow and wind. As long as you stay indoors, you'll be fine.
Relax, it's just snow.
Make yourself some hot chocolate, get yourself a good book, and curl up in your favourite chair.
Grab a bag of chips and a soda and go vegetate on your couch watching TV and/or movies.
Or get bundled up, grab a toboggan, and head for the nearest hill to have some fun.
Trust me: I'm Canadian.
(Surviving Canadian winters makes us Canadians professional experts on snow and snow storms.)
No, but I wanted to say I am praying for you and your family to be safe and warm. Wait, I did think of something. Have all your cellphone chargers handy.
Don't worry, it's more of an annoyance than anything. The only worry is if you're in the flood watch area.
