I live in Waikiki Hawaii and the sirens are going off here. I'm not too concerned been through this several times in the last 3 years and they are no big deal.
Where are you located? There is only an advisory for Oregon and N. Cali. which means there could be strong currents maybe higher waves but there is no danger unless you are on the beach. Hawai may see waves 3-7 feet. You are most likely safe.
