Yes it is. Have you ever noticed that when you knock on the ground it sounds hollow? Thats cause it is. Under earths crust there is a civilization similar to the mayans and most people believe the mayans did indeed travel to the center and thats how they "disappeared". Because of this theory most people believe there are caves in mexico and possibly south america leading here. You would encounter many dangers on the way to the center. Such as dinosaurs. And pack LOTS of water.

There is no civilisation up here, so why would you expect any down there. The Earth is red hot and molten rock in the middle. It comes up as lave flows from volcanoes. No it is not hollow.

Jim, I am pleased to inform you the center of the earth is a molten iron core. Hint: where do you think volcanoes get their lava? You know, the liquid rock that spews out of a volcano? There are no caves to the center of the earth No one lives there. No one COULD live there.

And if it is, does anybody know any cave openings that lead there? people believe there's an opening at the poles that leads to the middle of the earth, where there is a central sun and civilizations. I've read all sorts of facts supporting this theory, and i read science opinions that make it out to be foolishness. If it does exist, I would like to find it. Could anyone tell me where these caves are? Thanks!
