It is not rightto have a patrol pump nera residential area because value of human life are indispensible then convinence. Not any country's govt gives licence to any patrol pump near residential area without approachable fire station.If it happen in any any country you can give a Public intrest rit in court for stay.
Not advisable.. But in cities, the pumps should be in places frequently visited by vehicles so that they can refill while passing. There has been no case, so far, of a petrol pump exploding and incurring loss of life, even while residential and commercial buildings catch fire due to short circuit and other avoidable reasons.
If the Bunk Owner maintains the petrol bunk in a proper way, there will no harm to have petrol bunks in a residential area. Because it helps the residents who have the vehicles.
