Is everyone watching children in need?

s i'm on answers and i am cowering a little incase someone mentions jimmy saville again!

I think that they have a lot of nerve having a big party saying how much they want to help children, where have they been for the last 40 years? they should have cancelled all the back slapping and silly stunts and just put a message on the screen for a few days telling people how to donate to the cause if they wanted to,at least the producer of the show said that he did'nt allow saville to contribute as he found him "creepy" a pity that more people didn't think that way years ago, many children could have been spared the horror of abuse.

I watched CIN until midnight. Can I just make the observation if it had been collecting for children in Africa would members criticism have been somewhat muted ?

I have some rather nice red paint we can all watch drying

God no...i would rather watch paint dry....

NO!

Being forced to donate to charity denies the act of charity (endless reminders of the programme amounts to brainwashing and shaming)

Putting a charity event on a TV station that is publicly sponsored is wrong without the express permission of those who pay for it

Those who give to children in need because its on TV have no concept of charity as they demand to be entertained in order to stop people suffering

If I see one more newsreader acting in an 'unexpected' or 'unusual' way (40 years of this rubbish, Morecombe and Wise, Angela Rippon, Hardly a surprise) I will destroy my television. Perhaps they should read the news, the whole news and nothing but the news

No, It's hypocrisy

after recent news when the BBC did nothing to protect children from child predators

No I'm not watching children in need and I think it needs to be moved away from the BBC in the light of recent events

A bit, here and there, I want to see Lord Sugar's appearance on Eastenders. Otherwise more things about it annoy me than entertain me - Terry Wogan, Fearne Cotton and - the children.

Hell no! its friday nite happy hour for me

Not at all ! I believe that charity begins at home ! I support my local hospice and the asbestosis victims support group !

cos i'm on answers and i am cowering a little incase someone mentions jimmy saville again!
