Fox presents the news from a conservative point of view. That's all. It sells. How many watch Chris Matthews? As far as the Fox Hosts, most of them are liberal. Again, it sells. If you watch long enough you will begin to see that in Hannity & O'Reilly. They're simply bought & paid for performers. The Republican Party is lead Liberals, as liberal as the Demoncrat Party. Glenn Beck is gone. As far as the news goes, Fox was voted the Best News Station by all the others: MSNBC, BBC, ABC, CBS & all the rest, ten years in a row.
Fox News is certainly inaccurate. Obama certainly has made mistakes, like any politician. But, Fox News has always misled. There's an old screenshot from Fox News, with "Osama Bin Laden" and "Obama/Joe Biden written on top of each other, so the rhyming letters matched up.
COINCIDENCE?!?!?! was written underneath, with several stern-faced commentators debating the possibility that not only was Obama part of a vast Muslim conspiracy, but the perpetrators of vast conspiracies deliberately only use people who's names rhyme with other people's. Sure, Obama may have a Muslim or Kenyan ancestor, who cares. For this conspiracy to make any sense, it means either A) joe Biden's ancestor, who came to America 230 years ago, was in on 9/11 and the creation of a line of descendants who's name would rhyme with a terrorists 230 years IN THE FUTURE:
or
B) Obama was already in on the conspiracy, and carefully chose a running mate that not only meshed with him in terms of political philosophy and values, but also had a cool rhyming name, that by their powers combined, would sound vaguely like a terrorist's name.
If you stuck both their names and jammed them together and took out 60% of their name that didn't go together.
THAT is Fox News.
Mainstream News is never 100% accurate. Rupert Murdoch has admitted that they manipulate what they present at Fox News. In my opinion all of these news networks such as CNN, MSNBC, FOX.. they are all in it for entertainment purposes which are for ratings which equal money. It's ok to watch them but please check sources to get the whole story, because more than likely you will just be hearing someones opinion which will eventually become your own without all the facts being presented. I support Independent News as there is less bias, but even then you still have to go directly to the source because even they start throwing in opinions and using other stories to compare situations.
Fox is just considered different. They bring up topics other news stations are uncomfortable discussing. Which is why i prefer it.
If you are fan of left parties you would definitely say so. to me it is unbiased and honest !
First off, I identify myself as a Republican, but I still watch CNN as well as Fox. But sometimes I find myself questioning what the anchors on Fox say, thinking they are being to direct or overstating something. I still think Fox is a good news station, but I am not a big fan of O'reilly, and I think they made questionable moves by signing on people like Beck in the past. Opinions? And please, no political debacles.
