Personally I would say do the same thing we did in Libya (launch missiles into the country but don't even put troops on Syrian soil) for as long as is necessary in order to accomplish whatever goal congress sets, which is a while different question entirely.

That all depends on how Syria reacts.

In class, we're doing a mock congress meeting. I have to pretend to be a rep. from Nebraska, and re-write the bill written on authorizing the use of force in Syria. One of the edits being made is specifying how long Obama is "allowed" to actually attack in Syria. What do you guys think?
