You would be unfortunate if you lived downwind of this bomb, then your departing will not be so pleasant, depending on certain factors !
The radiation will not fall evenly, where it rains it will do the most damage, it will not be so long before all water becomes undrinkable, and everything starts to die.

It is a particle accelerator which aims to achieve the conditions that occured at the beginning of the universe by colliding protons into each other. There is no danger whatsoever in these experiments, because they are dealing with subatomic particles that are completely controlled within extremely powerful electro-magnets.
None of the new particles survive very long after a collision has taken place.

If you were in the eye of it you would be gone in a second. If you are 10 miles or so away you might survive a few days,its hard to say.
