It pissed me off. Muslim terrorists are like the common house fly. It's time for us to stop playing nice. We HAVE big fly swatters. Let's use them.
Short term, it has disturbed people who thought America was only threatened by foreigners.
The bombers had been living here for over a decade and even went through the effort to become US citizens (which isn't easy!)
Yet for some reason, they decided to attack their adopted home. Worse still, they were able to learn how to build their devices from documentation easily found on the internet.
Realistically, neither of these facts are new. America has had its own share of native terrorists, and you've always been able to get plenty of information on making explosive devices from the public library.
It has also, unfortunately, increased the amount of bigotry and hatred aimed at Islam in the US.
Long term...too early to say. I think what will eventually happen is more people will be willing to tolerate even more cameras and invasions of privacy in exchange for some false feelings of security.
I feel nervous if I see a Muslim woman wears a black poncho, covers from head to toes
I am afraid she might strap bombs inside her body
American law should prohibit women covers their entire body with poncho in the public place. They may hide drugs too.
It just a sad sick thing, that people think they pleasing the Almighty God by killing others.
It did awaken people all around the world even little kids are aware of muslims now and what they are capable to do.Muslims can't be trusted period.
