The next doomsday for this planet will be in 5 billion years whe our Sun comes to the end of its life and implodes to be replaced by a new young Sun with little heat or light. Life on this Planet Earth will become impossible and our very distant forebears will have to move to other planets.

That all just a hype. watch the video "Why the world didn't end yesterday". NASA made it and released it early to calm this down. In a nut shell, the Mayan calendar is like our calendar. on December 31st, everybody doesn't freak out because there's no other days, we just buy a new calendar. my understanding is that December 20th is day 12.19.19.17.19. which is just like December 31 on our calendar. December 21 will be the start of their new cycle or 13.0.0.0.0. which is just like January 1st on our calendar. this is just a way to get people to freak out and spend all of their money trying to evade a disaster that doesn't exist. for that mater the world could end any day but it doesn't because this is a massive earth and it takes years for even the smallest things to occur. the 21st is just another day.
simply put. the bible doesnt speak of doomsday but does mention Armageddon which the name is directly associated with “the war of the great day of God the Almighty.” no one know the day or hour though which is brought out in Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32,33. how to survive? john 17:3. says to take in knowledge of only true God and Jesus Christ. cuz it means everlasting life.
You want to board up windows and doors, have 2 shotguns and 3 automatic rifles, you want 4 pistols per family memeber (only 3 per child) you want 10 molotov cocktails and canned goods, You want a gas stove and you want a can of axe and lighter so when you ditch your house in a last moment attempt for survival you can burn it down
