Don't want to do the Ice bucket challenge?

Um, you could just tell her what you said here about your medical condition.

You could always get very warm water, toss in a bunch of larger ice cubes right before you film and get it dumped quick before it melts. Well, since it's cold where you are at, the steam will be visible. I say just tell her about your medical condition and you can't afford to donate. She should just accept that if she's really your best friend. It's not like it's mandatory just because someone "nominated" you to pour ice on your head to "spread awareness" for Lou Gehrig's Disease a.k.a. ALS. It's stupid and most people don't even know what this challenge is for and much less likely to donate. It's all for exposure on YouTube and FB. Just dumb. It doesn't spread awareness, because most people only focus on the ice bucket part and couldn't care less about ALS.

If you don't want to do it, don't do it. Why be a sheep and follow everyone else, you haven't got to do it.

I'm definitely not doing it, why? because I don't see how tipping a bucket of water over my head and more importantly wasting water is going to help.

I have donated, but I have also donated a lot more to different charities over this last year and didn't need to tip anything over my head to do so.

Just say that you don't wish to waste water when some nations

do not even have enough water to drink.

I do not like to pour scorn on any type of fund raising effort, but

the Ice Bucket Challenge defeats other charities such as Water

Aid who need funds to dig wells for communities in poorer nations

who have little or no water. It seems that one charity is making

money at the expense of another.

It's winter in Italy?

I don't know what it is but if it's to do with modern-day telly or stuff like that then I am certain it's remarkably pathetic and stupid so no I don't.

It often cant be done for health reasons or other reasons. just decline politely and pay the money to charity, which is what its all about.

explain her the situation.... tell her you were okay at first and then kinda got worried cause you are not well

You are not compelled to do so.

i assure you - NOBODY CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My best friend nominated me to do the Ice Bucket Challenge, and she said it on facebook and called me and I said yes because I didn't want to disappoint her. But I don't want to do it, and I'm sure as hell not donating $100. It's Winter in my country and it's bloody freezing, plus I have hereditary chilblains, and the challenge will make it act up and my fingers will swell and turn blue. I'm not donating to ALS, that's final. Can you tell me how I can get out of it without seeming rude?
