Sadly no. No jumpers survived. It is impossible to survive a jump that high.They knew this before they jumped, but they had no choice.Their only other option was to be burned alive. I get teary eyed every time I think about this.
It seems hardly likely they could have survived from that height. I suppose they must have thought they would have a better chance than face the flames?
I am terrified of heights and I personally could not have jumped while there was a chance to get down the staire.I would have been over come by the smoke.
No one survived. Not only is it impossible to fall from that height and live, but anyone on the nearby ground when the towers collapsed was crushed and incinerated.
