Australians, what were your thoughts on Rolf Harris?

He was very popular in England and had a weekly television show where he used to sing songs and do quick paintings. He had a lot of fans.

he played on his merthyr connections, the local paper says the iron master's stately home, now a museum, cyfarthfa castle has taken down rolf's picture he painted of said iron master the uncelebrated robert crawshay, whose business enterprises killed thousands including many children.

famously or infamously crawshay's tomb stone reads 'God forgive me' it would suit rolf as well.

I think it's been proven he can't control that "extra leg" of his. He was definitely playing on a stereotype as real Australians don't act like that. For example, I've never seen a corked hat in my entire life.

He was in the UK for so long that he probably had more fans here.

Before he was exposed as a paedophile?

Was he even popular?

Do you think he played on the stereotype Aussie? Corked hat, Digeridoo, wobble board and those weird noises he used to make??
