The Big 2012 Doomsday Fail is imminent and it gives you a chance to learn from it.
You will learn how not everything you see on the Internet is true.
You will learn to distinguish between reliable sources such as NASA with statements from named people whose credentials you can check up on, and unreliable sources such as anonymous nobodies who make outlandish claims with no evidence and just expect you to believe it.
You will learn that when something only grabs the attention of your friends talking about what they've seen on YouTube and fringe websites whilst the big wide adult world as a whole just rolls on without anyone paying any attention to it, the big wide adult world is usually right.
You will get the chance to see how people behave. Ask your friends if they think it's real. If they say yes, seek them out on 22nd December and hear them say how they never really believed it.
When visiting neighbours after 21st December, see whether any of them seem to be partaking of a diet of pasta, rice and canned food which will go on for 6 months because they stocked up for a non-existent doomsday. Then laugh.
Look at crackpot websites and make a note of their proclamations of doom. Then go back after 21st December to see that they've vanished or been altered to say that they didn't really think anything would happen. Some will simply be abandoned, with their stupid predictions there for us to laugh at throughout 2013.
Afterwards, you will be a wiser person and will know that you should take no notice when the next doomsday prediction comes around - and you can be certain it will.
You do realize that 2012 is a movie. It's make believe. It's not real.
Heck, the science that the movie is based on isn't even real. Neutrinos don't come from the sun and they don't cause the earth to heat up like a microwave. If the Earth underwent that sort of rapid geothermic change, it would literally tear itself apart. The "arks" wouldn't help because suddenly there'd be no more planet. Just a large field of airless, waterless, asteroids.
In fact the whole "theory" of 2012 is based on a single observation and no facts. Ready? Here it is: Since the calendar ends...it must mean the world is going to end. That would mean your wall calendar - you know, the one with the cats you bought from the mall - is predicting the world will end on December 31, 2012 because that's the last page.
So people looked at the Mayan calendar and noticed it seemed to end rather abruptly because it ended in what we call the middle of December. But here's the thing...the Mayans didn't use our calendar system. How could they? Our system wouldn't even exist for another 1000 years when they were finishing the carvings on their calendar. So, to them, the calendar doesn't end on December 21, 2012, and it doesn't end because it's the end of the world. No. For the Mayans, their calendar ends because it's the end of The Great Cycle, which traces the movement of a star through the sky which makes a complete circle every ~10,000 of our calendar's years. It's their equivalent of December 31, 1999. It's not the end of the world, just the end of one cycle and the start of a new one. Were the Ancient Mayans still alive they would have been busily creating a new calendar for the new Great Cycle. I mean why do this centuries before you need it, right? Do you already have your 2999 calendar? How about your 2019 calendar, you slacker, you... :-p
So, no, the world isn't going to end on December 21, 2012. All the stuff you've heard is nothing but a bunch of modern fairy tales. Yes, the masons, the conspiracies, all of it is nothing but modern fairy tales. Doesn't exist. Well, the super volcano does...but there's no indication it's going to erupt any time soon, let alone anytime in this century. So stop worrying.
I suppose you could die from some illness's or get run over by a truck, or even choke on some food, but the world isn't going to end on the 21st of the 12th or any other time soon so stop worrying
The end of our world will come sooner or later but who can tell the date? Even if government knows the truth they won't make it public in order to keep their people from panic, and the disaster is out of anybody's control over. You don't have to worry about it.
Even though the government would like to, they don't control volcanoes.
You are worrying for nothing! Enjoy your life and stop this, NOW.
If you don't believe me, you had better open all your Christmas gifts on the 20th. That gives you at least one day to enjoy them!
-Do You know EVERYthing that's GOING TO happen to You- Tomorrow ??! :o If NOT; then WHAT makes You Think ANYone "Knows" what's going to "Happen"- 2 WEEKS from Now ?! Movies are "made up" Stories. Predictions are Random, usually WRONG, and can be invented by ANYone. So STOP Worrying about what NO ONE "Knows" ANYthing- about. And just get ON with Your Every Day- Life !! :)
No, but let's hope that date marks the end of this stupid question, which has already been asked and answered a zillion times!
And for someone such as yourself, who believes in all sorts of conspiracy theories, no amount of proof otherwise would ever be enough.
No. The masons are paranoid geeks. Anyone who says they know when the world will end is a liar.
No -- the Mayans just ran out of rock and had to stop their calender on that day.
The current state of public education is what scare me more. You seem to be making my point for me.
I'm really scared about this. I've seen the movie 2012 and I hear that's exactly what the government is planning on doing to us, I wouldn't be surprised because all the government does is keep things from us and have their secrets. They don't care if they kill us all. So I'm kind of worried about them doing this to us. I've read something online where they promise nothing will happen but I don't believe a word they say. Apparently on the 21st the super volcano in California will erupt and cause shifts throughout the world which will cause floods and fires and we will be killed. I've always told myself only god knows when but I've been reading things and everything seems to connect. When the twin towers burned, there were a bunch of symbols showing it was gonna happen in the money. I heard its the government that did it and they are trying to destroy us, the masons. Is this true? I really am worrying about this.
