Nope. Ireland is a seriously depressed economy. Half of the country is on the dole. I'd rather go somewhere I could get a job.
For the record, I'm of (partially) Irish extraction and love Ireland and the Irish. I just wouldn't want to live there these days. If their economy ever improves, I'd be over there in a flash. It's not like there's a gazillion jobs where I live, either.
I couldn't care less about my nationality, but I guess Ireland might be better than here right now. At least education is generally cheaper there. Although, given a choice, I think I'd live elsewhere in Europe, like France or Sweden. Just my preference, I guess.
No
i love the irish people and love to visit Ireland but i am proud of where i come from and who i am
I would not wish to be anything other than British, but as to the other part or your question,I would not mind living in the Irish Repubic if they had a health service.Could not affotd it otherwise.
Not at this time, but in the past, yes! I had an older cousin from Ireland that used to play the rich man's sport of polo, it seems that back there it was not such a raised nose sport.
No. I think most people wanna live in the country they were born and raised in. I would love to visit Ireland someday though.

I figure my great grandparents Mullally knew what they were doing when they emigrated in 1867
No more than I'd want to be anyone else, living anywhere else, no.
