Of course not.
China and the US are economically dependent on each other.
War between them would be economic suicide for both.
Russia won't do anything because it lost the Cold War (and its Soviet Empire) rather than risk war with the West's NATO military alliance.
(NATO is the most powerful military alliance in all of recorded human history.)
Iran's re-thinking its plans now that Israel's "Iron Dome" missile shield has proven effective in shooting down Iranian-made missiles fired at Israel by Iran's Hamas terrorist organization.
-Something that can shoot down little rockets can more easily shoot down the big huge ones required to hold a nuclear warhead.
The Syrian conflict is a Civil War between the Syrian people and Syrian government.
While it's proven an annoyance to nations neighbouring Syria, it's still just a domestic matter between Syrians.
So no, we're not all heading into a global catastrophe at all whatsoever.
Especially not in a globalized world where everyone's economies are connected and any disruption, such as a major war, would cause a bigger financial mess than the global recession caused by the Americans screwing up their economy in 2008.
The fragile nature of the global economy is a deterrent against anyone starting a big @ss war.
There is nothing to suggest there will be a war between China and the USA.One certainly hopes not.
a zombie apocalypse is gonna happen on dec 21 2012 be ready i am from the future
