The western economy is dying. The American leadership must do something to re-rally around the flagpole once again. The British in lockstep with their corporate driven US handlers will follow suit.
Look for an "attack" in a major metropolitan centre. LA perhaps should fire up enough Americans, while a seaside resort on the English coast are good candidates.

Yes, that is thier goal. They have stated they plan to pull off attacks on western countries, but for obvious reasons they dont say when or where.
Who knows? There are some things you really can't worry about. This is one. If I let myself worry about it with my children spread all over the US, it would send me to a nervous breakdown. Just live life fully and enjoy it. You could be hit by a car today.....
